One-on-One Training

Fred Charlott, USA

When I first started watching Maxim's videos, I was in a good bit of pain from the beating that my body had taken over the last twenty years of training wrestling and Jiu-Jitsu and competing in strongman events. I know a lot of physical therapists, chiropractors, Div 1 S&C coaches from years of training and competing, and none of them had been able to do anymore than offer partial and temporary fixes, and so I've spent the last five years feeling my body getting progressively worse and knowing that the future was going to rough. I set up a call with Maxim, and within the first ten minutes of assessing me through the Facetime app he'd already pointed out several things that I knew were wrong, so I told myself that if he can spot that much through my phone then he must know something. Since then, he's taught me so much about my body that had fallen through the cracks when I was learning how to train properly because what he's teaching me isn't "training" in that sense, it's more like the things you should be doing all the time. Good posture, how to walk, reach, bend, even sleep properly. Every time I've said "this" is bothering me, within the next few minutes he's figured out the movement that's making it hurt, figured out what I'm probably doing throughout the day where I'm making that faulty movement, and showed me how to do it properly so it doesn't hurt anymore. I get that a lot of people are probably looking to him for "training" advice and that's fine because he's got loads of it for you, but for everyone else who just wants to move at 65 like you did at 35 then you need him even more than the other folks.

Maxim is the man! I'm around 40+ years old, I was like a frankenstein when I first started and had a terrible knee injury. I thought I was going to have to quit BJJ. Now I train harder then ever, have great mobility and feel I move better then when I was 23!

Maxim is one of the best if not the best trainers. The amount of details he provides with correct applications and ways to incorporate in your training is just mind boggling.

I stumbled upon his video on YouTube and as I watched it, get hooked up instantly. Though I am not a gymnast, I felt improvement from day one. I have been using his methods and tips since that day.

The biggest gains I got are improved posture and increased strength. I would say he introduced me to full potential of my body.God bless you Maxim. We need more trainers like you.

He's one of the best personal trainers you can find! I struggled with postural problems for many years, and he was able to quickly pinpoint the main problems and developed exercises that helped to fix my posture very quickly.

Not only will he help you to get fitter, but he approaches fitness with a very well-rounded approach that will help you with many aspects of life.

I’ve been working with Maxim for some time now, and I can honestly say he’s one of the most knowledgeable trainers I’ve met. His deep understanding of body mechanics and human anatomy is incredible; it’s like getting a lesson straight out of a textbook but in a way that's get you to rethink on how your body operate in a movement. He takes the time to break down each movement, explaining not only how to execute it correctly but also the mental aspect of it. Maxim consistently goes above and beyond expectations in each session, he is very dedicated to adapt the session to the client's needs safely and effectively. I’ve seen remarkable progress, and I attribute much of that to his guidance. I couldn’t recommend him enough!"

Maxim is extremely professional and knowledgeable in the way the human body functions. I got a recommendation from a friend to try Maxim’s online training for a nerve issue I have that a neurologist said it’s basically untreatable, and  physiotherapy didn’t really make a big improvement. After the first session with Maxim I already felt a positive shift. Maxim was able to identify the weaker parts of my body and help me adjust the way I walk and hold myself. He really knows how to hack the way his trainees think and help them basically fix themselves with his guidance. This is more than a regular training it’s alignment fixing that everyone should be conscious of and learn.

My son (15) has been working with Maxim to improve his gymnastics skills, focusing on his flexibility, mobility, and strength. We had a wonderful experience. Maxim was not only knowledgeable in gymnastics but also incredibly supportive, making each session productive and enjoyable. It was extremely helpful especially as my son was recovering from an injury.  Maxim tailored each session to meet my son's unique needs and skills. He used images to demonstrate correct postures and positioning, helping in the understanding and execution of various gymnastics skills. I highly recommend Maxim to any parent seeking a dedicated professional for their child's athletic development.

I’m thrilled working with Maxim. I wanted to improve my physical appearance and health, since having children, but I’ve always hated gyms.

I didn’t want to waste my time or money at them. I did one session with Maxim and I knew right away this is what I’ve always wanted from working out.

Since starting with Maxim I feel stronger and have way better posture, but my confidence in my body has improved the most.

Before Maxim I had been in and out of physical therapy for over a decade, trying everything and anything to improve my back pain and sciatica. A month and half of work with him has dramatically improved my quality of life. His approach is unlike any other personal trainer, and his attention to my individual issues shows me he isn't running through a recipe. This is one of the best investments in my health I've made in a long time. I am lucky to be able to attend in person sessions, but his flexibility allowed us to continue training even when travelling. I'd recommend if you are sceptical about whether Maxim can help you, let him walk you through an hour of his approach. Halifax is lucky to have him here.

Maxim is hands down the most amazing trainer I have ever had (and I’ve worked with some superb swimming coaches and PTs in my life!) His approach is both warm and efficient - you will be working super hard, enjoying yourself and getting real results! I love how versatile his cues are, if you’re not ‘getting it’ he will find a different way of explaining things so that you do. There is also zero judgement and intimidation so please jump right in even if you have zero experience with gymnastics, handstands etc like I do! Enjoy, have fun and stay fit - you deserve it

I'm Vera, 23 years old, from Germany. I was lucky enough to meet Maxim online through my aunt. Until now, I'd never worked with a personal trainer, but I'm so glad I did. I'm a beginner at stretching, but after just four weeks, I'm already seeing significant progress and have learned so much that I can continue working on myself on my own. Above all, it makes you realize how much you're actually doing wrong, despite watching videos on Instagram, YouTube, and the like. He explains everything very thoroughly and in a clear, descriptive way. Even with a slight language barrier and a distance of 8,000 kilometers, it's easy to understand. And what's also important: it's (most of the time :D) a lot of fun! :-) I can truly recommend training with Maxim to everyone!

Online Courses

Guidance and priorities rooted in solid biomechanics and fundamentals. As someone who has worked with online coaches and also spent many hours self researching topics on gymnastic/calisthenic preparation and physical rehabilitation I can say without hesitation that Maxim offers a depth of knowledge and explanation that is both unique and unsurpassed. Also in this era of social media marketing I appreciate Maxim's genuine desire to help others through his videos and courses. The content of the Fundamentals course is superb.

Immediate result on day 1. I am a long time cyclist; a few years ago developed a lot of issues and i'm getting a lot better but one has persisted for a long time. Using 2 simple cues while riding today --from week one that | learned yesterday and implemented today in the guided practice session -- I was able to eliminate at least fifty percent of an annoying hip issue in terms of soreness level, just by doing what max told us to do on the floor... while I rode my bike. And I joined yesterday. This is so promising!! Imagine how much better i'm going to be when I can do this automatically.

Trainer Maxim’s courses are expertly delivered; they are clear, easy to follow and a joy to put into practice. It is a pleasure to learn and make progress with him. Trainer Maxim offers exceptional content, all of which is unique, whether in his courses, his e-book or his YouTube videos. The knowledge he shares with us is rare, and the techniques he suggests can be applied with immediate positive results. I feel immense gratitude for all the knowledge he so generously shares with us.

Just did my theory and the demo sessions for Week 3 l can't believe the improvement in my alignment and ability to hold the untwisted spine already. I have been going to bed hearing push that non dominant side 1 inch.

This is an amazing course. Thank you. I had been concerned that it would be repetition of your YouTube material from which I had already learned so much but this course is taking your YouTube information to a new level. 100

Amazing!!!!

The Fundamentals: Hips, Shoulers & Spine is fantastic. The neutral spine concept appears to be fixing 10 years of shoulder issues, which repeated physical therapy has not helped. Looks like neutral spine helps keep the shoulder safely in the socket, giving significantly more shoulder stability an strength.

I actually feel the benefit of stretching the day after - even multiple days after. In the past no matter how long I stretched, the tightness returned a day or two after. I'm only a few weeks in to the once weekly stretching + mobility, but it's feels better than anything else I have tried. And it makes sense.

Hello all, hello Maxim! Just a general update and observation on my progress with this absolutely fantastic program. In between Christmas parties, preparations, work and fighting off the flu, I have been blowing my mind with the intricacies of spinal work in this course. I'm taking it very slowly and have been rewatching the videos before, during and after my sessions and I must say that my first take away from it all is that it is very addictive. It's as if my body craves the reset and when it falls out of the untwisted position now, it immediately feels wrong and insecure. From riding I have a pretty good body awareness, but this is definitely next level and very exciting.

Don't hesitate to take courses or personal trainings from Maxim! It will save you so much time. I'm only at the beginning of his first course and just applying neutral spine and untwisting the spine concepts made my squat, my chin ups and even sitting and walking pattern significantly better.

It is going to be the third day of your course It is amazing! You are a good teacher, and the subject is very empowering

my connection is getting stronger. Last week, I began to be able to visit each vertebrae, 1 am starting to understand what is going on. I appreciate what you do! Your channel is looking good!

I just wanted to say, Thank you!!! I really appreciate it, you help me understand myself. I was looking at spinal cord injuries, and now can see the connection with my neck down to my foot. Sadly it took me getting in minor car accident the beginning of December. I still got whipped, I feel it affected T7-t10 area. I am so thankful to have your program and my knowledge, I have the opportunity to hold myself together to the best of my ability. We must be able to grow Nero connections? Even if lost long ago. I enjoyed the diaphragm video, very helpful. I am really enjoying your program!

E-books

I found the ebook “Fix Your Rounded Upper Back & Shoulders” by Maxim very well structured and easy to follow. What I appreciate most is that it doesn’t treat rounded shoulders as an isolated issue, but starts with the spine first, which is a very logical and effective approach.  The concept is based on understanding first, then conscious control, and finally reinforcing it through well-explained drills with clear visual examples.

This makes it practical and easy to apply. It feels like a clear system rather than a collection of exercises, and it has changed how I think about posture during training. It starts with understanding and practicing it through the drills in training. The next step is to apply it consistently in daily life, which is now my goal.  I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a structured and practical approach to improving posture. It gives you a clear system you can actually follow.

I recently got Maxim’s posture correction book and I’m very impressed. The way everything is explained is clear and straightforward, but still detailed enough to actually understand what’s going on.

The drills are easy to follow thanks to the illustrations, and they’re more challenging than they look, which makes the process engaging. It doesn’t feel like random exercises, there’s a clear structure behind it.

Overall, it’s a really solid and well-thought-out guide. I’m enjoying it a lot and finding it genuinely useful.

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I picked up this book, but it turned out to be very practical. It doesn’t just tell you what to do, it helps you understand why you’re doing it, which makes a big difference.

I especially liked how the exercises are presented. They look simple at first, but once you try them, you realize they require real control and attention. It keeps you engaged instead of just going through the motions.

It feels like a guide you can actually work with, not just read once and forget. Definitely worth it.
